You'll hear the phrase, "freight is slow right now" but I don't buy that. When I'm told freight is slow what I hear is "load planners are slacking again at putting loads together"

 

Basically it Ops that is screwy. You have to remember this is new for Schneider and there have been pains. I think they will get through it okay, just takes some experience and they do have some good people working to fix the problems.
I am not sure what the slow time is for the oil field, but now is definitely not it.

 

I tried to get fired today to no avail.

High-hook or drop a trailer. That should do it!

 

I was so heated at the time due to things out of my control that I almost left the scene of a pickup. I had to wait 4 hours after the load was supposed to be ready. I also almost beat up another Schneider driver lol! In my frustration, I threw my paperwork clipboard into another company's trailer. I had a rough day to day the least.
