SMT i will say to bank 600-800 a week will not be a problem provided you run smart and dont try and run lots of miles for little pay. The key is to run less miles for higher revenue. and keep expenses low. I'm buying a 387 from schneider but am going to dealer by the house monday to check out a 2009 387 and might just buy it thats why i've put off the green bay trip for this week. or i would of been in gb monday.

I just hate going in debt for the 65k it will cost to get an 09 387 but i may. the 387 from schneider i will go in debt but only for 22 months and if worse case scenario happened i'd pay it off early and leave schneider but i feel confident i won't be leaving schneider. I do have a friend trying to talk me into buying and driving in the ND oilfields. but i think it's a short term job market. although i could make some quick cash too.

I don't mind 14-18 hr days it's the time away from the house that i'll have an issue with 3-4 months at a time. I have so much here that i do outside of trucking i'd actually be losing money..

Thank you both for your time and wisdom. And I do dread the 140k... Hopefully I can get the T660 which would probably save me around 50k plus and the MPG wouldn't be much different. I would much rather get something for slot less.... there was nothing on the list they emailed me that I would pay 5 dollars for that would have been ready this month. And I'm glad to see there is some decent freight around here and maybe it will make me some money until I learn the board well. And tennman I dread the def thing to but from what I have read it doesn't have to be filled often so maybe it won't be much of a headache.

smt, from my exp with sni i would only go to cali for certain loads and make sure your booked back before you do. the bs of cali aint worth it.
