    I've been offered a 2015 KW T680 double bunk. Any opinions on whether I should stay in my 2013 Casscadia or go with the T680?

    Go for it. I believe the SNI ones have the Paccar engine, been around a few years now so should have the kinks worked out. I've seen several of the company T680s that you can dump the airbags on which is nice. Looks like they are set up a little nicer than the Cascadias.

    Lets see.... Since they put NO money down on their truck, I would guess their ROI is a whole lot better than Yours...

    nope, if you could get 32% roi everybody would buy a truck and put a driver in it. Actually
    I was kind of impressed when you said 8 but then you said you could bring it up to 36 and that isn't gonna happen. If I could get half that I would buy 5 trucks, but roi in the 3o's is a dream. you think guys on wall street get that kind of roi? like
    I said before easier to make money on paper than real life. I'm not doggin you but nobody else can get that kind of roi so how are you?

    Dream? No, just have to know how to manage your time and money. Simple... Annual cost of the lease (payment+maintenance) is $45k/yr. Total profit after payroll and taxes is estimated to be $14,400 +/- 1,000. Roughly 30%.

    As there was no initial investment, ROI is calculated on an annual basis upon lease costs. Now if you want to include all operating costs to include payroll and taxes then the equivalent of the ROI matches my average weekly profit of 8.5%.

    Here is where it gets exciting! Next spring at the end of the lease, I am putting $5k down on a used Freightliner Century in the $25k dollar range. Including expected maintenance cost of approximately $750/mo. And a monthly payment of $1,500. I will save $18,000 the first year alone in truck notes. That assuming a close rate of income, will double my current projected profit to roughly 17-18%. After 18 months from purchase, the profit margin will increase another 30% as the truck will be paid off.

    Not hard to do, not at all.

    I have to say, I am so far impressed with Dallas' shop. Not only did they PM my truck and address all write-ups, they fixed things I didn't think would get fixed at all. My windshield washer hoses were replaced, because the mech didn't like the way they looked. The rear diff was resealed. Air compressor had a slight oil leak, now fixed. Porch light replaced and is aimed correctly now. New reflectors on the back of my tractor. And - wonder of wonders - I now have 2 complete batwings! My first DBL told me (and seeing the condition of company trucks I had no reason to doubt her) that SNI wouldn't fix them when I told her about them when I got the truck.

    The brakes aren't perfect, but are a dang sight better than before, and I can live with that. I no longer have to lock the differentials to get traction after dropping a trailer. AND - the check engine light is gone! Woot!!! For those extras, I will not rant and rave about having to wait another day for my truck. Worth it in the long run, to me. Plus, I talked to the dbl covering for mine, and am getting breakdown for the second day.

    Now if ops could just unstick their heads from the dark, warm fuzzy place... ;)
