Schneider Choice....but for a team?!

on utube u will find a driver on choice (mrfittrucking) he is on choice as a solo but his wife is training so they can run team on choice i believe. he may have some answers

 

i havnt seen him on here, i would try n contact him thru utube, other than that i haven't heard much about team/choice,and as far as I've heard there is a separate load board for teams.

 

I tell my wife to get her CDL so we can drive as a team. She says:"NO
I don't want to drive those big trucks"
I'm doing intermodal with Schneider right now and I'm tired of it.

O/P ~ do you HAVE to go with SNI?
ask @blairandgretchen ; they got good gigs going on, same with @miss elvee ~ husband and wife teams. Maybe wives can read their posts?
Or ~ otherwise, maybe @Chinatown has some answers; sorry I don't drive for SNI but am interested in hearing how this pans out for ya!

ps: My wife has hers, but won't team with me until the kids graduate. (She doesn't want to share a small space with me anymore than necessary I think....LoL) It's her dream, eventually. If I don't retire first!

It has it's positives and negatives, for me so far, the positives out weigh the negatives. I team with my brother and we stay out about the same amount of time as we did running company, more time sitting between loads though and sometimes you'll have longer deadheads between loads sometimes or getting home depending on where you live because you won't have access to any solo freight to get ya closer. You won't have to chase miles anymore though, instead you'll chase dollars so laying over for a day isn't always a bad thing for teams, Not sure what all ya want to know.
