In conjunction with my last post.

Most every OC stocks parts for the Freightliner because it is the main truck of the fleet ... Another thought to keep in mind if you needed a

    Gauge
    Head Light
    Running Light
    Windshield
    Fuel Filter
    Oil Filter
Over Head ( OC CAN DO THESE )

    Just regular stuff

Your money or not your money its still a Premium to have the ability to upgrade ... From a business prospective it dont work for me above the 3k I can get bang for my buck on ... the additional 2k sits and waits on you ... My thought is it can sit in my bank account and if I so need it i have it ...

Just the way I look at things .. Im not saying im the KING of KINGS about this

However CAPITAL is CAPTIAL and if you ever needed that extra 2k you have it .

I look at a LEASE for exactly what it is :

3yr term , turn it in , get the next one ...

I am not putting lots of money into a lease truck like you do one you own because it is still a LEASE in which I have no desire to own. So keeping your operating capital outlay to a minimum is the best decision for my business . I like to let my money WORK FOR ME ... NOT WITH ME :)

Coming from a former sni driver, In all seriousness would you really want the oc to run your overhead?

Does sni have one load board for the country and you filter that down, or do different regions have their own boards? I'm try to see what rates in the southwest are looking like. If they are similar to those you've been posting, I'll be in line shortly. I'm specifically interested in loads in/out of Arizona. Sorry if you've covered this, I'm only about halfway through the thread so far. At the rate I'm going it'll take another week or more to catch up.

    Thanks,

    Bill

you just search a area you want to run , such as Dallas and can put in a radius of 50,100,200, miles etc or how ever far you wish to DH and search that way -
you can also search by destinations for cases where you want to go home etc you can plan loads going towards,a destination

But there is just the one board for solos and then the teams have one.
