The biggest thing they're looking for is judgments, bankruptcy, n liens. But I was told even if a applicant has a 700+ score they could turn them down.

Thanks 91b. With the kind of money involved it would kind of concern me if they didn't run a credit check, just hoping my experience in the industry will outweigh my bad financial choices.

Your experience is your CREDIT .. However if you don't let them RUN YOUR CREDIT you will be limited to a FREIGHTLINER . The ones who let them run their credit and qualify are the ones who get the other models .

In short if your cool with a Freightliner you don't need to worry about credit

essentially the Freightliner is less risk to SNI and SNF because it's what they buy the most bulk of and have more bargaining power with , hence less risk to them financially over another model . This info is first hand what a guy was told in my class who wanted to switch from a FL to a KW midstream in class but he didn't want his credit pulled and for that reason he stayed with the FL - EVO .

You can still opt for NEW though just a FL

Actually as long as you have the cash to put down you can drive whatever they have to offer.(Volvo,Pete,KW)

Credit rating only comes in when determining length of the lease.

I've got no problem with a freightliner, that's all I've ever driven.

Weekends off or weekly home time is based upon your financial needs . Anyone can get home weekly easily . The key factor is how much TAKE HOME REVENUE do you need to make your obligations outside of the truck etc .

But sure you can do it

The FL - EVO is a pretty nice truck . Personally I prefer FL cause of the dealer network alone . Not to mention it's the fleet truck of SNI so parts will be plentiful

I,ve always assumed that because all the major companies use freightliner or international, that those would be the most profitable to own. When you spend the kind of money on equipment that they do you don't just do it cause it looks cool or whatever.
