Driving day lots of hills 44,100 ended day just under 8.0 with a 7.93 off the scan gauge ... Which is more accurate than the onboard on the green truck the scan gauge was just around 1% off or less from my paper and calculator

Not bad for a new truck in comparison to Betsy I'd say today she would have been just over 8 to 8.2 on the scanscanguage . The new truck just hit 3200 miles so she's a little tight yet still .

The rates usually stay consistent but on JIT loads or loads that have been missed or expedited the rates can go up. The fuel surcharge is where you see the rates fluxuate.

    Hmm yeah I don't know.
Figured say with all the people buying endless amount of stuff from black Friday through the holidays that more trucks are needed than say during less of of buying season.
But then again I'm still a noob trying to figure things out lol.

The freights already been shipping, there may be a slight increase in volume in some areas and maybe even rates but if their is it should not be the reason anyone becomes an IC with SNI. You will learn that in Trucking even when freight rates or fuel surcharge goes up it's usually slower reaching the driver and that is industry wide not company specific.

This has been an unusual season for freight in my opinion, Usually there's a noticeable increase in volume all at once but it seems as if this year it's benn just a steady flow no noticeable major increase. It could also be because I'm picking my own freight and I go at my pace not a dispatcher.
