That's correct if you lease a truck because of freight spikes you'll turn it back in after the holidays .. lol

This is a business not a hobby

lol, I'm just wondering if it's worth it to leave my job sooner or later to join.

If you plan on taking significant time off around the holidays consider that as well... a sitting truck, especially one with a 1100/wk payment, costs bigtime!

That's totally up to you if you join in the next 4 weeks up to 2nd week of Dec the no truck payment should carry you through the holidays depending on your time off needs

Meaning the delay until first payment is took out ..

The incentives right now I think they are giving 1500 in the maint account to start

they never told me about two weeks of no payments.
I don't need a lot time off... just a couple days around the holidays to see family, BUT it's in Florida.

If I hold off I'll either have to spend money on an airplane or car rental down there. Or if I jump now I can find a load to florida and take whatever garbage loads if need be around florida till holidays come. Even just breaking even I guess is better than spending $500 on airplane tickets.

Anyway I'm all there 100%, I'm done with dispatchers lol.
    never again.
They always send me into snow/ice storms at night.. no matter what company I'm with :biggrin_25513:

that's cool, man why don't they tell me these things?
I mean they even told me all trucks are spec the same besides color and tranny.
Then I get sent pics of T-680s in stock... some with and without curved mirrors in the front of the truck.. so much for all them being the same!

Gotta be a detective to find everything out, man it ain't easy!

I would also advise even if you wait til the new year to get your truck and space in orientation reserved so when the new year gets here you dont end up waiting even longer for a truck or orientation opening.
