    Day 1 down for me. Just the same stuff as with everywhere else on the first day of orientation. Got the keys to my truck, got to look it over but it was already dark so didn't get a good one over. Plan on doing that tomorrow.

    I usually don't jump in to other driver's, um, stories, but I felt like I had to just this once.
    The fact that you revel in other people pointing out your inconsistencies as some kind of cult following, speaks to your personality and ego.

    I shall not post on your thread again. And I'm sorry for all the new guys who think you are correct, (you are not).

    This is beginning to be another witch hunt like the other thread. Who cares who gets a referral, and why?
    Everyone is going to run different, everyone will make different.
    So why always a argument about it?
    I'm new here, so I can't give advice, just absorb what I can and ask questions.
    I can't say I agree with the way things are said or such here, but I can say that when I would ask questions, usually they went unanswered, so I messaged people, most got ignored, but JH is one that did answer.

    I have meet Jar Head, drove few hours to meet him,been to his house meet his wife and kids, looked at his settlements ,hell the man even loaned me some stuff get started with.
    IMO he is straight up person as one can be.
    Anyway carry on.....

    I'm not saying he's not straight up but I've never seen a post of his mentioning anything that's bad or even difficult about being on the choice board. I try and counter his 100% gung ho attitude with the reality I've experienced on choice. There's nothing wrong with being gung ho or telling the good however for a new driver or one with relatively little experience the posts can sometimes read as misleading as in only to get a driver to come on board. I have no problem with the way JH runs his truck but it's not the only way it can be done. Yes it's his thread he started but it's still an open forum and you know some body will read it and think the grass is greener with only a portion of the story.

    I'm not trying to get any thread closed because there is good info but sometimes it's also misleading for those outside of the choice board to read.

    I'm not the one who said they thought I was in the top 10 on choice ... Dint blame me I was told that .. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings .. my goodness .

    Now anyone who has read this thread knows the difference between half truth and backing it up with facts and data.

    I'm pretty sure if I was telling half truths I'd assume I'd be out of business by now but yet here I am still here..

    I get called the NEW GUY ... etc but yet I. Still don't go to your threads and bring the fight ... Nope my sack is pretty good size cause I'll just PM you and tell you what I think ... If I got a problem ..

    So if the information in this thread isc half truth I guess I made up the settlement s and used photo shop . And lied about stuff ...

    The very first post said this is gonna be different

    The one guy said I was invading some sales territory or something ... Feel free to RECRUIT HERE it don't bother me it actually flatters me that you need to come here to supliment your truck payment etc ... I'm not mad ..

    I've had 2 referrals I'm not doing this for that believe it or not if I was I'd have way more than 2 with all the traffic this thread gets ..

    As Boethel mentioned WE were in Day one here in Charlotte....

    Not too bad; classroom instructor is not as "polished" as I'd hoped; just another trucker turned instructor...... Lost control of the class in the first ten minutes.

    All the company transfers did NOT have to complete the physical again... One guy was walked out after failing physical.

    Usual presentations and chest thumping from Maintenance and Ops. Safety & Training presentation tomorrow.

    Since this is a "legal" event, there were classroom "proctors" watching us to see if we filled out all the forms, and signed in the right places.

    Lunch sucked, but then again, it's a Schneider lunch facility run by an outside "contractor"......

    No time to "Pre-Trip" the tractor, BUT I looked over mine from the outside yesterday and have a laundry list of repairs and "fixes that need to happen before I fully commit to the program.... I am more pissed at my SNIFI guy "Brian Culp" out of Phoenix for blowing off my requests for a specific "install" that did not occur the way I had intended it to....

    A special thanks goes out to Dipschitt for taking the time to walk thru his "business plan" in Kansas City a few weeks ago... Truly, ALL the folks here in one way or another have positively affected the program and my decision to come as far as I have... I'd still be a TE if it weren't for Kris out of Phoenix that took the two hours in Pueblo to give me the full rundown on Choice and all the positives and negitaves of the program.... He ultimately wins my "referral" for taking me over the edge and pull the trigger on the program.....

    Not sure what else "Day 2" has in store, but we still need to go over Omnitracks and load planning for all the new converts to Schneider, and somewhere fit in that full Pre-Trip to find the rest of the flaws in the new builds......

    Lastly

    I do post my bad stuff I just posted a cancellation and rebook the other day ... Just because I dint say

    Screw Schneider ... I'm tired of this crap or etc .. does not make it that I dint tell the truth ...

    It means I have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and choose to be perceived as positive not a negitive Nancy
