uh if you're a student like your profile says I would worry about that yet.
FYI it's paid by the mile that's a scam, even as a company driver.
As a company driver I get paid the same (by the mile) if I'm driving in Nebraska on a long load as when I'm driving in the Northeast on a short load, does that sound fair?

so basically I'll only be shifting while driving only with 4 slots, where as on my 10 speed it's 5 slots due to 6th gear. Is that accurate?

Yep. If your empty you can start in 2nd. Loaded I'd start in 1st just cause the gears are a bit taller in a 9 speed.
At least that's how I was taught.

No problem and your welcome ... But

If your a student as was mentioned you will have to go through the SNI training academy and do 2-6 weeks with a trainer , then at least 6 months as a company driver on your own before you could bconsidered for the choice program ...

As a studEnt I'd personally reccomend you get your feet wet at least 1yr before you make the jump .

There are lots to learn before you jump into this and out of the proposed 40% failure rate on the program I'd venture to guess at least 60-70% of that is folks jumping in at 6 months exp

It's a different beast .. do your home work and get a good plan together before you try ... Would be my advise

Thanks for the advice. Was a student, now I meet the requirements for the program. Clean records and 100% on time.

I'd still like to know if you think load percentage number is fair.

It's 65%. I think that's fair for a lease program. Your running under schneiders plates, insurance, tags, and they broker the loads.

They do even more, if you are asking yourself if a 65/35 split is fair. List what you do for the 65 and what they do for the 35. I believe it's fair, but do the list objectively as see what you com ed up with.

    mattbnr Thanks this.
