    Got my QC fixed at Dallas , they did a good job and was accommodating . Glad to have things up and running right again

    1013 total miles
    $1927 gross ..
    2.5 days to do all 3
    1927 / 2.5 = $770.40 per day

    Had the trailer tracker installed also while at Dallas OC so I'm up
    and running full speed now ..

    Thanks for sharing your numbers. (Looks good!) I'm curious if you've developed any sort of system for setting aside money for expenses/taxes. For example, lets say you grossed 3,000 for the week, is there a certain percentage you would put away?

    Day started off great got my load and delivered early , then hit a snag my second load got delayed but so far my plan is staying intact should be loaded after my 10 hr break . Since it's over the 6 hrs I was told I should collect some detention since the load was to be ready by 12:15 . No biggie customer service is adjusting the delivery apt for me .

    Very easy to work with when you communicate quickly .

    To answer your question , everyone will have a different answer to the question because every business has a different need or profit margin based on other aspects . Personally on a 3000 gross week you net depending on miles should be around $ 1900 so myself I put away 15% .. But used to I'd put away 20-25% but I do it off my NET and not my GROSS .. So like I say everyone does things differently .

    Should get my load in the morning and head off to Missouri 479 miles .. A decent day

    after that off load depending on time pick up my live load in MO to KY to end my week off on Friday
