Never touched one of those but I DO know if you are gonna start one of those that has sat for a long time you better make #### sure that rack isn't stuck :biggrin_25525:

The sound of those old 2 strokes will make the dead rise from their graves. Last year was the first time in a LONG time I saw a truck that was in "active" use pulling out of the truck stop with an 8v92... made every hair on my arm stand up on end.

M109...is that the selfpropelled howitzer? or the racked support vehicle that follows it? Short stint in the National guard in High school. That M109 rung a bell for some reason

Company drivers get stuck with the leftover loads that we won't take... Hehehe.

Sometimes, if a load delivery is missed, they'll repost it on the board and raise the pay on it.

And sometimes you can find the real diamond in the rough, a really short relay load. Saw one once going from Rogers, AR to Fayetteville, AR. 9 loaded miles, paid a bit over $400 LOL.

Yup, 109 is the howitzer, 548 is the ammo carrying chase pick-up, 113 is the troop carrier that can be configured for alot of different things. I ran around in a 578 recovery track for a few years till I got my 88

not a whole lot yet but , because I had time off scheduled and the VA had me on a few appointments I had to get done . I'm not new to the system though nor the process . I studied this thing right at 2 years strait with the board etc before I ever jump to SNI . I may not have personally pulled allot of loads but I have a few friends who have been on choice right at 5 years and got some good training I grant you . I know first hand what I'm talking about and places to and not to go etc .. Got a bad notty and nice list ..

My thread is basically a head start informative thread to get you accustom to the process and how it works and what to expect .

odd....usually when folks come on board, they're rarin' to go. Most folks handle their personal stuff before they get to Green Bay......but, hey, it's your choice.
It's awesome that you can apparently go for several weeks without any income. Man, wish I could do that.
