One thang about new trucks is new motors. Right. Its got to break in before you really see good fuel mileage.

I really dont know how many. Im sure someone knows more. But i guess its 100,000 miles or less.

piston Rings, valves & bearings got to seat. Than you'll see those fuel mileage jump up.

If you dont mind. Just hit the enter button at the end of the sentence. It adds a space.

That way its eazier to read when hitting bumps.

No,no,no. No,no,no. No! I dont read and drive.

Rubber side down, At all times. Somewhere between the ditches, Roll on!

Also when they did the test, the truck was a 6x2(power to one axle only) not a 6x4 makes huge differance

Just jumping in here. Knight Rider great thread you started and yes the information you have been posting is going to good use for other drivers. I am a SNI driver and have been since 2011. I am going L/O through SNI Finance here in a few weeks. I have been driving altogether 5 years so I am confident in my driver skills and knowledge of the trucking industry.

What I have not really ran across though and am wondering is does SNI offer health insurance and benefits at a discounted rate for L/O? If any driver knows please let me know how it has worked for you or the options SNI gives L/O if any.

    Thanks and drive safe!

Good Lord, talk about grabbing the wrong end of the stick and running with it.
If this is your attitude, prepare yourself for failure. Stuff goes a LOT more wrong than anything that has been said here, so either grow a pair or keep towing that company line.
You OBVIOUSLY have zero direct knowledge of what it takes to be an owner operator (Meaning NOT a flease operator for the likes of CRE, Prime, Etc).
Like was said after your little temper tantrum, most of us are here to help and not steer anyone in the wrong direction. If someone gets butthurt over reality, insert your head back in the sand. 22yrs of doing this, in 19 different countries, with NO preventable accidents, and running my own equipment for @19yrs. Yeah, I may just have a "little" more knowledge than yourself. Deal with it.

Where is the "thats the smartest thing you have contributed to this thread" button?

Sounds possible working for Schneider huh? Especially since I drive a freight shaker governed at 63.
