Are the majority of them boneheads, or does this just apply to those employed in the Intermodal division?

We ship about 3 loads a week to our plant in California, using Schneider Intermodal. When a Schneider driver arrives with an empty, to pick up the load, we give them the following information. Pretty straightforward, not hard to understand.

"We need you to drive on to the scale, we will weigh your tractor and empty trailer in. When you're weighed in, take the empty around to the back of the plant, but before you drop it, make sure the trailer axles are all the way forward, the pin needs to be in the first hole. Drive your tractor back on the scale, we will get your tractor weight, we will give you the paperwork for the load, you will sign please, you're load is in door 6, you will be set to go, have a great day."

About half of them drop the trailer out back, the rest of them drop trailers wherever, on the side of the building, blocking exits, dumpsters, other trailers, etc. Came in this morning, and they had dropped a trailer on the ramp to the scale, effectively blocking it, and not allowing anyone else to use it. The axles? They MIGHT be in the proper position, but most times they're either all the way to the BACK, or somewhere inbetween.
One guy dropped his trailer, picked up the load, and drove back to get his paperwork, WITHOUT WEIGHING THE TRACTOR FIRST.
Many of them will walk into the office while on their cellphones. They will nod to you while you explain the proceedure, but never hang up their phone. Dispatch has been told numerous times drivers need to be here between 6AM, and 2 PM, but they show up after 5PM, or later.

So again I ask, is this typical of Schneider in general, or just the Intermodal drivers?

Never really had contact with intermodal but when I talk tip normal schneider drivers on the cb they seem alright. The one intermodal I did see drove like an ###.
