So HE'S that guy on the CB!!

 

Well, I appreciate that. You know how it is.. Some days you're ready to take SNI's BS and the world head on and other days you can't believe that you let someone actually convince you to sign up for this crap. I've recently had to change some things about myself and the way I think about this job. I'll be here one year in a couple weeks and the last 8 months or so have been spent exclusively running from Kenton to the N.E. between D.C. and Boston and every #### hole in the middle. That can make a guy a little crazy and maybe even a little down or angry about it. When I-80 in PA is the best part of your trip everyday, you got problems haha.

So trying to make a long story short, I've had to adopt somewhat of a false bravado. Now I'm not a ####y guy by any means and I do believe that being 100% ####y can get you killed in this business, or worse hurt someone else. But I mean more like when I hear that preassignment notification go off, I have more of a joking "Well let's see what kind of crazy scheme they've concocted this time" mentality or "let's see which slum they're sending me to now" and it's been working for me. It's all about keeping food in my kid's stomachs and a roof over their heads. The mortgage company doesn't care that life at Schneider ain't always peaches and cream.
