    Yeah that makes sense. Granted ups, Estes , OD dry box co driver's do well too.

    a lot more dead time with a flat or reefer than a dry van by far and these companies dont seem to pay anymore thats why a m ajority of mega reefer companies have schools or hire new grads . sure the AVERAGE rate is higher than reefer than flat but the average deadhead is lower and the unloading loading times a lot longer . I pulled the big money reefer trailer for 6 years and make more money with a van and 75% less hassles. haven't done flat since the 80s and the biggest change is flat has always been small carriers or ind. o/ ops and you see a lot more megas getting into it bigger now and that will ruin that biz just like they did to the reefer biz if it hasn't already. ...... maybe step deck lol.. .. you can make a good living pulling just about anything if you have half a brain
