So just turning 21 I have been looking at trucking companies and came down to two decisions. I have to rely on a company paying for my training since I don't have the money to pay for schooling myself. I applied through Schneider and got a call back but I wasn't at my phone because of a family funeral. I called back and it's been a week and I still have not heard anything. Another company i'm looking at is Wil-trans. I don't know too much on the training other than they help you receive your cdl. Does anybody know if they pay for your schooling or do they bring you out to Montana if that's where they are located? Any help will be awsome!
Schneider or Wil-Trans?

Go to their website click on driver information read it then ask questions. It seriously answers your question in big bold 12 point font right on front page.
No thanks needed welcome to adulthood
And you don't have to rely on a company paying for you. Just go to any community college that offers a cdl program ( 7/10 will) and apply for the pell grant. -
Wil-Trans trains in Springfield,MO
Jim Palmer Trucking trains in Missoula,Montana
Wil-Trans owns Jim Palmer.
Jim Palmer runs coast to coast & Wil-Trans runs eastern half of USA.jvar4001 and redoctober83 Thank this. -

Schneider doesn't have cdl training. You have to already have a cdl. They have a good training program once you have one though.

The pay is not better than prime but its not bad either Wil trans is 40 cpm and prime is 42 cpm. I would take the .2 cut just to be with a smaller conpany
