Schneider orientation from day 1 at Charlotte, NC

I still have my ice cleats from SNI. I just can't locate them right now.


If I COULD find them, I wouldn't have fallen on my rear end in the snow at the Pilot in WI early this morning!

Sounds like you're getting a good overall view of the function of the various components. It's a lot more than you get most places. As much as I rag on the "new" SNI, there are still some things they do well. Charlotte was my terminal when I was there, and there are some very good people there.

 

School is supposed to be starting for me in 2 weeks up here in Portland, Or. And once that's all done I will be doing this same thing. Does anybody know how the training facility is at the Portland OC?

 

There is no training facility at Portland. All training for the Western 11 is conducted at Fontana. Where I happen to be heading to tomorrow for orientation.

 

Seriously?? The recruiter didn't say anything about that. Oh well I guess. Fontana, Ca huh, is that OC a nice one?

 

From what I understand it's one of the nicer ones. Also they put you up at the Best Western across fro the Ontario Airport.

 

Well at least the hotel sounds better than some of the ones I have read about.

Good stuff, Schneider is one of the companies I am considering, however, I live in Minnesota, training for me if I decide to go with them would be in Wisconsin I believe? Keep em coming, I like to read what to expect.
