I'm all signed up and ready to go with Schneider but I could sure use a real quote on what the pay is.

I was told 15 to 1600 miles per week at $0.42 a mile and five loads a week unloading and loading all of them at a total of $60 per load for unloading and unloading equals my total to right around 930 to 990 a week

Does that sound real or is that a blown up number any Schneider's out there want to let me know

sorry to 'burst your bubble' but 930-960 GROSS a week is HORRIBLE as far as tanker! We have a guy at my terminal that started there. They treat you like a number, and the pay isn't all that. If you want to be home every week and GROSS 930-960 a week go do general freight. that's about the top pay you'll get in that 'line of work'. But, good luck in your career.

$930.00-$960.00 a week is poverty level.
I guess if you're in your early twenties, with no debt and no family, then you won't starve.
But if you have a family... you're toast.
    And broke.

I ain't starving, but even doing $1700-1800wk goes by fairly quickly after every branch of government taxes the living crap out of you, then there is the kids, ex wife, wife, girlfriend, etc

Try looking in to Quality carriers, they train and the money will be alot better.
Either way just get your year in and move on the money you were quoted will double

Well then, take the Scheinder deal, get your year in and move on, from what I've read on here you can do better than the money they told you at Scheinder,
But they're a training company and you'll be used and abused. You just hang in there and things will get a lot better after that year.
Your location will also determine how well you can do with them.
