Well first you have to actually see a prime tanker. You might have better luck finding Bigfoot . Just kidding prime guy. To be fair, I have seen them parked at tank washes. . I'm just not sure how they got there. :-D The drivers are nice guys, had some good bs sessions with some.

Yeah they are not going to overwhelm us with numbers that's for sure.

No problem. I only spent 3 nights in it last week. The rest were at home. Grossed about $950 for the week.

Slightly old thread, but I can throw a little Prime tanker facts in here for those interested. Keep in mind, most this info is about a year and a half old or so from when I did drive for Prime and this was just from me talking to tanker drivers and the tanker boss. I was interested in the division but decided against it.

Prime's tanker division is very small, maybe 100 drivers or so and a couple FMs.
Majority of the freight is east coast, very large amount in New Jersey.
Most tanker drivers I talked too only stuck with it for experience, said they made more money reefer side. Just no miles on tanker.
Quite a few of the loads are very time sensitive with ZERO exceptions to lateness. (including weather)
If you came in as a new driver, you'd do all your training reefer side first. Then you go to the tanker 'boot camp' a course in Chicago before time with a tanker trainer.
    Possibility of a 'lightweight' truck.

Only benefit of Prime over Schneider I can think of is you don't need your hazmat. Outside of that, I think Schneider is a better option for those who strictly want tanker.

I am having my phone interview for Bulk this morning. When I applied, I was told out of Houston 10-14 days out, 3 days off. I have been told things like this before. Is it true? I have 11 years exp. 2 of them otr tanker yanker so if hired, will start out at $.43/mile. Good choice, or am I about to get hosed?
