Hello everyone, new cdl A license holder, tanker, hazmat, twic card. I was wondering if you could tell me how the schneider training went? I got my lic. but it seems any local jobs that I would want I need a year of experience. Is this a good company to start off with? I was thinking regional tanker. The one bad side of this job that I see is the pay but I can never get an actual real response to the pay if I worked out of Keasby,Nj. I had a recruiter at the school twice but holey crap he couldnt be more vage on pay or how much insurance cost for 1 or 2 people on it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. 1st post bere tbanks

It went well 3weeks in west memphis training oc terminal...they have you drive and teach you their pretrip, 45 backing ... fyi they pay better than most and they are way less presure and will give you help if you need it.... you dont need any more experience just your cdl.... go to the webpage for job search and tell a recruiter if you know a schnieder driver you can give them the driver number and he will get extra money for you signing up. tanker is a different school though i went van team... but I would start van rather than tanker tanker is hard to stop you need to go real slow and gental on the brakes...surge is real :) as for the insurance i dont need it but you get money off your deducatable if you dont smoke or get a yearly health check up from one of the oc doctors/nurses i cant tell you much about the medical but if you really need it I can get the book on it out...they also have a per deim program so that you get the to maximize you tax return in each check without keeping receits for everything... as for pay i dont think 39 cents a mile is bad for no expeirence but that me :)

I looked into it ... 2600 for single person 5000 for couple for a year... 500 each toward that if you do a wellness check up so 1000 for a couple...72 off if you dont smoke twice that for a couple... 14 for a generic prescrip up to 147 for brand name...

dont know what the monlthy payment is and i think the 2600 5000 thing is copay not sure the presentation was a little confusing.. hope this helps

Finding the right co-pilot is difficult. It's either love or hate. I would try for a married guy who is true to his wife, so no hanky panky.......Two women on a truck ? Too much drama, I say.
