Schneider to shutter Canadian operations.

CAT has yards Carolinas and larado, both have US trucks and US employees.

 

The company I was with until the vaxx mandate, SGT, has a yard in Laredo. When TFI bought us out they fired all the Houston drivers, dispatchers and planners. Their yard in Laredo is still operational but all loads are now moved by Canadian drivers.

 

Lots of Canadian outfits established in the US. And plated there too. I believe they’re subject to the same rules though. (Deliver, reload and return to their country).

-Erb has a Pennsylvania location.
-Rosedale has a Georgia location.
-Skelton has a North Carolina.
-Trans X has a Minnesota.
-Scottlynn Longhorn has a Florida.
-Liberty Linehaul has a California.

 

Yeah, that’s TFI alright. Buy a company and rip it apart. Competition elimination is what it seems like because they don’t retain much after the acquisition.

 

I think if these mandates get reversed I'm going to try my hand with Liberty

 

I can’t say what they’re like these days. They were a respected carrier years ago.

Nice iron. They really took pride in their fleet back in the day. Just like Transport N Service did.

 

Bison owns atleast a couple of US companies

 

Several. Bison and it’s affiliates are now owned by Richardson.

I knew Bison had acquired 2 and I didn't know if there was more or not.

 

Charger has yards too. In IL, MI and TX. Could be more. Those are just some that I know.
