Schneider Training in Fontana CA.

Not sure about that location, but Schneider's standard training is a week of orientation at an operating center followed by 2 weeks of over the road training with a TE. After you do your 2 weeks with a TE you go back to the Op Center for SQT's (skill qualification test). After that round of tests you get a truck. If you don't mind driving yourself to and from you should be able to go home nightly if you want. I don't know much about this phase of training since I'm not an OSR, but I am a TE (Training Engineer) so if you have questions about that phase of training hit me up.

It's great. I jus completed and passed my SQT last tue. will be getting my assigned truck on tue, jun 14. I did the training in Fontana OC. great people, great instructors, had a great TE. was on the road with TE for 7 days...did and passed the SQT.

i went thru schneiders training at their fontana yard like 5 years ago it was great i only drove for them 5 months teaming had a great partner and they kept us going and got us home every 2wks my partner had to get his kids every other week they honestely where good to us, his 2nd wife made him quit and i left for what i thought would be a better gig (WRONG) i did not think schneider did training anymore ?

 

is sqt tough to pass? im a recent cdl graduate of a local school in los angeles.. but im wondering if i should get some more trianing (with a school that has 53ft trailers) since at my school only used small trailers. i just want to be sure i pass and not get sent home or dismissed from the training phase.

 

Why don't i see any info regarding Schneider training on their website? Did they recently stop company sponsored training?
