Hello all,
I've been with Schneider Bulk for one year and one month now. The training costs $4,500 and the contract is for a year and a half.
They deduct $12 a week from my earnings and contribute $50 a week. So at this point I owe about $1100.
If I leave before the year and half does their past contributions of $50 a week still stand? or does that get reversed, leaving only my $12 a week?? The difference is like owing 1100 or 4000. Any SNI people know ?
I'm considering finding some local work elsewhere.

Read your contract, it will have it in there.
But my bet is...you will owe the entire amount. They will not be obligated to fullfill their commitment, and will be able to charge those payments back to you. -
well looks like another 5 months with SNI, they got me by the balls . . .

Can a SNI driver confirm this if possible? I dont have my contract am on the road for a long time. Thanks.

I wouldn't start asking the company about this. It will just open up a can of worms that you won't like. If you do ask, don't be surprised if they leave ya sit without a load or give ya pretty nasty loads that other drivers don't like to do. I'm not saying SNI does this, but I have seen other companies do this.
I would guess that if you leave you will have to payback the training costs. They will first with hold your last couple of checks to cover the amount. Then if that doesn't cover the cost they will probably send ya a bill. -

I drove for schneider... was trained by schneider... signed a training contract with them... I left them 4 months before the contract had been fulfilled....
THEY CAME AFTER ME !!!!!!!
I hired an attorney, and after several months of back and forth, schneider finally agreed to the pro-rated amount (although the contract clearly stated that I owed the full amount).
They "WILL" ding your credit report!
If you're not in a position for a legal battle, and do not have the time or resources to repair your credit, then I would recommend that you "tough-it-out" and fulfill your contract with them.
I was not a "problem driver" for them.....
NO accidents
NO tickets
NO fines
NO SERVICE FAILURES !!!!!
So, being a "GOOD DRIVER", does not come into play when settling this particular issue.
