Since tanker did not work out for me, my recruiter got me into the van division on the International Paper account. The average miles are decent but the pay is kinda low at 40 CPM. Does anyone know what additional pay is available? I know that International Paper is 50% multi stop. Does this mean I would get paid for additional stops? I know it's all no touch freight. Thanks in advance.

Never made it that far, bro. Failed the pre-work screen and was sent home. Headed for dry van orientation on Monday in Carlisle, PA.

What kind of paper? I’ve done paper rolls before and the’re very heavy. It’s usually 7 paper rolls, and you will be 78-79,000lbs.

You will see a lot of back roads especially if you’re picking up in South Carolina or Upstate New York.

Yes, primarily paper rolls for bulk printing. I figured on being very heavy at close to maximum weight. My guess is that they can really only load, at most, 2 or 3 rolls in the trailer.

Good thing the jake brake on the Freightliner is really strong.

Oh they can load up to 10 rolls depending on the size. I have hauled a lot paper loads out of Louisiana and Alabama. Those loads lately have been around 42000-43000. I've got a few under 40000

Had no idea you could get that many in there. How difficult are these loads to scale and get legal?
