Hey IMG,
I saw your comment on Hydrogen generator for cars. Is this H gen real?
There's a guy I know in Kingman that is making them and trying to sell them. When I heard about it I though it was a joke, one of those fuel scams that come out every time fuel shoots up in price.
I don't know how he's doing. Someone told me he said he's getting an extra 10 miles a gal. He's got a Chevy 4x4.
If you got a chance can you get back to me on this.![]()

I just finished the 2 week course at Schneider in Charlotte. Go back next week for my CDL's. My class started with only 19 people. Out of that, 12 finished. Those that didn't finish either quit after a few days or were sent home because they just didn't get it. Five students that finished had their CDL's already and were there for only one week, but chose to stay for the full time. Their choice, not Schneiders's. The class that started during my second week was around 29. Don't know how many were left, but it appeared to dwindle down to about half that by the end of this week. I talked to alot of drivers at the OC in Charlotte, and most everyone of them said they were getting plenty of loads, and miles. Mostly running Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast.

Of course I have nothing to compare the training with personally, but I was very well pleased. Learned alot in a limited amount of time. Schneider is very safety minded. I do know that the people who got their CDL's from another school and decided to stay for the whole course, said they learned alot more in Schneiders school. Some had gone to as much as 6 weeks at other schools. None of them knew much of anything about loggging, trip planning, or Qualcom. They said that basically all they learned at previous school, was how to pass the CDL tests.

Good evening everyone. been out running since 6/15. bvack home to finish packing the house. Wife got her liscense and now we will be on our way to B'ham for her orentation on the 9th. haven't seen many Schneider trucks out there. Even been up in Cincy where at one time they were big. But they are out there. Stayed semi busy, but with the holiday upon us and me needing to be home to finish packing, I will get a better feel for it next week.
Being back in the heat sucks. Only was gone a few weeks and already I can't wait to leave. Got to get back to packing. Only have a few days left, as we are leaving Monday morning. You guys take care and as soon as I get my laptop, I'll be back on -

I think there are two possible reasons why they will not accept students from AZ. One is the lack of freight going there being they use the railroad pretty heavy like JB does. And 2nd is AZ rules are a bit stricter when it comes to Newbies getting their CDL. This I know because I used to be a CDL trainer and trained a guy from Phoenix. That poor guy had to go thru some really dumb paperwork.
