School bus driver to go OTR

I have had a class B CDL for over 10 yrs. I love driving and have always wanted to go OTR. I have many family members and friends that are truck drivers. My kids are grown and I am ready to start this adventure and live out of my truck! I am starting school at CRE and yes I have done my research and heard all the negative about them. I need to start somewhere and get experience. I know I will not get rich and it won't be easy. I am ready to pay my dues and put in my hours driving. I feel I am in a perfect place in life to do this. I have no house or car payments to worry about. Any advice as I am training? Questions to ask trainers? Any advice is appreciated. I have really enjoyed this site and I have spent much time these past couple weeks reading posts and gaining much needed information and knowledge. I have spent more time on here than facebook! I always knew truckers were great people and I have been helped on the road by a quite a few. I am proud to be joining this family!
