School Bus Pulls Out In Front Of A Tanker Truck

Go hang at a commercial DMV, for a few days. What I’ve seen are people who look to be barely clean, act barely intelligent enough to pass the test, and chasing something barely more than working at Burger King. The only reason they don’t pursue a mega’s offer is they lack the commitment to be gone for weeks at a time.

 

Just hang around a truck stop, then you will come away thinking, "you mean I have to share the road with these people".

That's absolutely correct, it is definitely my worst nightmare. I feel sorry for that truck driver and for those kids.


Unfortunately, this will probably bankrupt the company that owned that truck and, in turn, cost the driver his job. I hope they and the truck driver countersue the school bus driver and the school district, and I hope they prevail.

The parents should be suing the school district and the bus driver, not the truck driver and his employer. Let's hope their attorneys feel the same way.

 

Ha! I've got better things to do than to hang at a DMV, unless I have to, like once every 5 years, but you are right.One could make the same argument about security cops, they don't have the grapes to be REAL cops. School bus drivers have ALWAYS catered to part time, less than experienced people, that can handle screaming kids. Sadly, the only ones that fit that are retired or housewives that would be picking up their kids or grandkids anyway. I actually took my school bus test once, and I almost didn't pass. It was a very difficult test and a lot to remember.
This? Nothing more than a fxxxup on the drivers part, and Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe will do their best to hang the tanker driver. It's what lawyers do, get the guilty off the hook.
