Not relevant to the OP's situation, but if you're ever in a crash and the other guy's lawyer does some digging and finds out you were working a side hustle and didn't report those hours, you just put yourself in a very uncomfortable position. I sometimes do other work on my days off from driving, so once a week I send in the form you complete when you start a new job, reporting your working hours for the previous eight days. The company then goes into my electronic logs to modify them, and next time I log on to my Qualcomm, I'm asked to approve the changes.
