:biggrin_2556: I was wondering if anybody could give me an idea of a good company to work for straight out of school in the Arizona region. So far I have prehires from Werner and H.O. Wolding. I would like to stay fairly close to home so I can spend most weekends with my daughter. I am looking forward to a driving career but some of the posts I have read are kind of scary. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
    Larry

sometimes due to where you live and situations like fresh out of school, like everything else,if you are a recent harvard grad you still need a start and to prove yourself in order to get the good jobs, werner is better than swift,ho wolding is better than swift, snieder is better than those also. I would try snieder or a small company where you live at.none are going to be your best lifetime job,you will want to better yourself.Just get started somewhere and learn all you can. If you are in great shape, when I was younger I lumped my own loads and made another 300 0r 400 extra a week. when you get older you won't want to or be able to do it. Reefer loads pay more to lumpers than dry loads sometimes my company let me keep that money and run a separate com chek for me for unloading. after you get experience and talk and learn from happeir more successful drivers you will jump to newer and better jobs and equipment.Good luck to you,not many of us started with the better companies out there,we didn't have this wonderful oh so real forum to help us either. Keep us informed, good luck in the future.
