Probably won't even hear about these in cdl school. They all hire new cdl grads even if the website has "experience required."

 

@Eckman Where down east are you located?
The school will teach you how to drive the stick. You are far from the first who didn't know how. I had driven stick for many years and it was almost worse than not knowing. It's a different style and I had to break myself from some habits that you don't need when driving TT.

 

@ncmickey - do you know anything about that company in Charlotte that hires new cdl grads; Crosby?

Finally it opened: Crosby Trucking - van/reefer/curtainside and has 150 trucks.

 

i went to that school. in all i paid $482 the class was $200. they have great program

 

When did you go to Sampson? I went to Cape Fear.

 

I got my certificate and cdl November 2015.
