Those who never learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

DO IT REO! 46 pages of personal attacks instead of constructive conversation is way too much. If a topic can't be discussed for it's title then start a new post. These personal attacks don't help the the very reason this site exists.

Ok listen, not once have I ever said that I don’t think it’s a problem, or real. Am I going to go in somewhere and purposefully try to contract it? Of course not. Why? Because I have COMMON SENSE. Just as the left side of your “meme” states, your fear is your problem. That’s a bit harsh......am I going to wear a mask? Nope. But I am going to wash my hands, and keep my distance. That’s what prevents spread as well. This whole notion of “I’m not protected by wearing a mask if you aren’t” is just silly. If a mask keeps your sickness in, by pure definition it keeps my sickness out. Don’t impose your will on me. I’m also not about to go around coughing and spitting at ppl. If everyone used common sense, we’d all be better off.......I’m sure the mods will shut this down soon, and rightfully so.

Do you really need a sign to tell you what speed to drive? Probably not, but laws always apply to the lowest denominator. A masks keeps you from spreading the sickness on objects that other people possibly touch, which is a more common way of transferring germs. But it can also stop droplets from going directly to you. It's an impossibility to sterilize everything we touch all day long. So the only hope is to keep people from contaminating things. These droplets can live up to 72 hours. So the mask is to protect other people. Hand sanitizer is to protect yourself.

Walmart, home depot, cvs,Lowe’s are all backing off their mask mandate,so the truck stops will probably follow their lead.

That’s how it works, but people don’t like it.
