The Dead Sea scrolls dating method first by the AMS accelerator mass spectrometry lab at the Zurich institute of technology in 1991 and then the AMS University of Arizona in 1994 also historical test on a piece of linen done in 1946 by Willard Libby the inventor of the dating method reveal 408 BC to 318 AD with a 95% confidence rate.

 

The great Isaiah Scroll ( 1QIsa ) has been tested 3 times, once by Libby, once at Zurich, and once at Tucson. The results from the last 2 were almost identical, which is a good indicator of the basic accuracy of this dating method.

You do realize that is a 700 year range you posted?

Most put it between 350 and 100 BCE. A 250 year range is still unfathomably large, but a 700 year range is meaningless for a document.
