Well I can try that. But it isn't going to be today. I'm kind of tired of fussing with it. For now. I also am pretty sure it isn't coming from the service side. When I set the brakes the only air it is releasing is from what is in the air tank. Once it is empty that is it. The spring brakes are then set 100%. Also when it is doing that there isn't much air left in the tank. Because not much leaks, it is very slow. Then when that tank is empty that is it.

Can you plumb up the used 110500 you have to tank air, air compressor, whatever, at the tank port?
See if it leaks out of the supply port?Kruse Family Farms Thanks this. -
Yeah I could do this as well. I know it does the same thing this one does. All three have been on this trailer and done this. I just didn't realize it was the cause until this week when I actually dove into it to fix it. I never really cared before. It must be a trailer issue somewhere. But I can't find it. I flushed all the emergency side red lines earlier too to make sure they were good and clean.

I get it. It's a super simple air system. Just not much to go wrong. But if tank air is coming out the supply port and you're 100% there is nothing coming from the blue line, there's nowhere else it could beKruse Family Farms Thanks this.

Yeah nothing out of any blue lines anywhere. I pull the knob to set the trailer brakes. The valve exhausts like it should but it only sets the spring brakes about 75%. You can roll the tires if you pull hard enough with your truck. Then the remaining air in the trailer tank tries to drain out of the RED trailer gladhand. Once the trailer tank is completely empty from the back feeding air then the spring brakes are set 100%. Maybe I should try another valve?? It is just such a simple system. Even the valve is simple. So annoying that I can't get it working 100% correct.Big Road Skateboard Thanks this.

Is this a sliding tandem?Kruse Family Farms Thanks this.

A thought, which probably shouldnt but may matter. do your air bags dump with that same valve or are they seperate? If they dont have their own valve, they may be backfeeding enough air pressure through their own check valve to partially keep air in the tank/brakes?
This is 100% trying to think how it could possibly be happening, i am not a mechanic nor do i have any experience with how vans are set up btwKruse Family Farms Thanks this. -
I've seen kinked or frozen slider lines allow air to be pushed theough the kink/ice, but not back out.
Could you run shop air straight to the valve supply to eliminate that possibility?Kruse Family Farms Thanks this. -
Yes the tandems slide.
-
Nah the air bags don't dump. I think the only valve they have doing anything is the load level valve. It seems to work fine.
