I couldn't find any kinked lines anywhere but I could try shop air to supply the valve and see what happens.

There are actually several quick release valves on your truck. In normal operation when you push in the yellow button air is charged out the line from the dash valve and fills the brake chambers to release the parking brake. This line is usually yellow in colour. When you pull out the button the air in the line is immediately vented and the air in the chambers vent out the quick release valve. This is the rush of air that causes the big and loud "Wooosh" sound when you pull the button out. If you are not hearing that woosh sound then all the air in the brake chambers have to vent back up through the charge line from the dash valve, through the dash valve and out the dash valve vent line. This is why it take so long for them to set. Go to you brake chambers, locate the air lines to the spring brake, or parking brake side, and follow line up to the quick release valve. Usually they are all plumbed into the same quick release valve. The valve is probably stuck from sitting.

Looking at your pic it looks like you used a lot of pipe dope on the fittings with the red and blue line that go into the new valve. If any of that got into the valve it would stick.
Here is a link. Look at 22-28 per the chart.

Might try pulling the pressure protection valve out and lubing the seal. Did some reading and looks like it should close at 80psi.
It would be the big brass nut on the bottomKruse Family Farms Thanks this. -

Still try the shop air though. If a blockage of sorts is holding air in the line, it could keep the pressure protection valve open.
Still doesn't make sense, but...Kruse Family Farms Thanks this. -

Try pulling the red button on the MV3 valve and then disconnect the red air line from the 110500 valve. does air continue to come out of the valve or does it come out of the line? When you disconnect the red line dose the brake finish applying?

I will try this as well when I get home. I think I know what the issue is and where the air is coming from. Someone put a T fitting in the red line at some point in time to run some air controls and go to a few air bags and I'm pretty sure that isn't factory. I believe all those things should feed from the air tank. I believe the back fed air is coming from that T fitting and partially keeping the parking circuit filled with air and it is back feeding out of the red glad hand from there. OR it could be that it is supposed to be there but the air control switch is leaking back and not keeping that side isolated from the parking circuit. I have a new air switch as well so I could test that. I'm not 100% sure how this trailer was from the factory. OR like you said it could be that the air is coming through the sealco quick release valve. So I will check all these out when I get home. It has to be one of those three situations. Then this situation should be DONE.
