Is it true that you can transport a sealed bottle of alcohol in the side box as long as it cannot be reached by raising bunk? Does TN or what states allow this? Thanks.

No, it must be in the trailer and manifested. Alcohol permits may also be required.

Guy's he said sealed which would to me indicate he wants to buy something and take it home.

However the answer given is correct. If you are just trying to transport it home maybe mail order it??

I've thought about this myself because we have friends who enjoy wine and sometimes I'm out in places where I wouldn't expect to find a vineyard and poof there they are (like NM for example). I'd love to take a bottle home for them to try but it seems too much of a hassle.
