Is it true that you can transport a sealed bottle of alcohol in the side box as long as it cannot be reached by raising bunk? Does TN or what states allow this? Thanks.

Guy's he said sealed which would to me indicate he wants to buy something and take it home.

It would make no difference it it was opened...in the trailer and manifested. Permits where required.

I've thought about this myself because we have friends who enjoy wine and sometimes I'm out in places where I wouldn't expect to find a vineyard and poof there they are (like NM for example). I'd love to take a bottle home for them to try but it seems too much of a hassle.
