Hello & thank you for taking the time to read my quest.
I used to drive OTR & I can't for the life of me remember a road that I was on that maybe someone might know.
I think it was in the Montana/Idaho region. This road overlooked a large beautiful lake (I thought it was Flat Lake but can't seem to find it). Anyhow, this road I went down was a very steep, steep grade like 9 or 10% and there were numerous switchbacks as I descended down the mountain.
I didn't save my logbooks and wish I had...would have maybe given me some better idea where this place was.
I appreciate any information and I thank you for what you do on the road and I look forward to re-joining the trucking industry!!
    Thank you
    Take Care
    God Bless

Flathead Lake - that's on US 93 between Missoula and Kalispell - brought me to tears the first time I saw it after popping over the hill, headed north to Libby, MT, when I was in the Air Force and was moving the wife and kids to her mom's in Libby.

Could be, too, that after only doing 350-400 miles a day in a Uhaul from Dyess AFB (Abilene, TX), car towed behind, my boys were 3 and 4, dog and cat in the towed car... that my trip would be done in about an hour and a half.
