That is the only reason I am even looking at one. Had to cancel a whole week & had NEVER even considered going to a chiro previously.
I stopped by to talk to the parts mgr about seats @ KW & he was out.
Looked at both the Legacy & the Elite, the Legacy feels cheaper & leaning toward the Elite 80. BUT, I know there are several models or whatever & want to talk to the main person back at their shop before buying.
Anything aside from a milk crate will be a upgrade to a 700,000 mile factory National seat that is in my truck now.
Sears elite 80 OR Bostrom pro ride

The Elite 80's are great as far as I'm concerned.
My stock seats were Nationals and were pretty good but I would never buy a National as a replacement seat because there are MUCH better seats available.LBZ Thanks this. -
Another vote for the Elite 80. I'm happy with mine.
-
I must have gotten a bad seat then, cuz I will not buy another one of the 80's. I was looking at Knoleders (sp?) but have tons of good things about the Bostrom Wide Ride HD seats, but I do know the Legacy Silver seats suck!!!
The Bose seat is nice but WAYYYY to expensive. -
Thought the ISRI 6860 looked pretty cool, but sounds like it is tough to get a hold of. The link below shows it estimated at $750(24 months ago), but online shop had it listing around $1700.
Looked around at the 3 local truck shops & KW had the best deal going, even when comparing the exact same make/model with seat at online warehouse places.
There was a comparison, though 2 year old info. if anyone hasn't seen it.

I have owned both the Sears Atlas80 Elites and the ISRI (Isringhausen) brand.
The best price I found on the Sears Atlas80 Elite was $725 each from the KW dealer in IL.
BigBadBill can provide contact information. No one has seen these seats NEW for any cheaper.
The ISRI? - Very spendy. KW can get an ISRI model directly via Paccar (lead time of 8 weeks) but they are KW branded/embroidered so unless you have a KW, that might not be appropriate. List on these is $1175 each.
ISRI carries aftermarket seats available from many dealers but they all start close to $2000 each. I obtained several quotes from dealers all over the USA and couldnt believe the cost.
ISRI has a better warranty and is REAL leather.
Sears has a 1yr warranty and the closest you can get to REAL leather is the fake "Ultraleather" - which I think comes from Mars.
This is the ISRI seat I have - but in black leather...

Des Moines Peterbilt sells these for $680 everyday. Sears also has a 30 day trial.
I'm also in the market for a new seat. I'm getting ready to put a seats inc. seat in my 379 to try it but I'm sure it's going to be to tall for my liking. I had it in my T600 but it has the back wall in it and the seat is just to big for it. It has heat and massage which is the reason I want try it in my Pete.
I also have a bostrom low ride in my other 379. I like it because it sits lower and I can stretch my legs out easier buts that's all I like about it. The bottom cushion is terrible. It's hard and has no shape. The hole seat seams cheep. -
Probably my biggest issue with the Sears seat is their Customer Service/Warranty.
I had issues and Sears will NOT seemingly ever swap out a seat no matter what.
Yea, they will send you part after part but in my case, when a swap out would have solved my issue - they flat out refused.
Even when the seat was less than 3 months old.
ISRI? - They will even cover the shipping costs to send it back to them IF needed.
3x the warranty and support from a company that appears to value their customers.
Of course they are one of the highest priced out there

Yeah, that is where I saw the $1700 leather special pricing.
Then of course shipping & what not.
