Ok, where are all the "secured" parking places for our trailer's? I would like all the Prime driver's to chip in on where they park their trailer's when on home time or a 34 re-set. I know you all have been receiving the QC messages about secured parking.
So where do you park your loaded/empty trailer?![]()

I need a place to park a trailer in Erie Pa.
-
I left my trailer up in Montgomery. Thats where Prime told me to leave it.
foresaken Thanks this. -
Dumbest idea ever. Anyone ever talk to you about operational security.
Ever listen to the Safety CDs? Ever wonder why the bleep out customer names when discussing Prime business on those CDs?
If its a secured lot then its bound to have loaded trailers... not just empty. One doesnt have to enter a lot to steal a trailer (loaded or unloaded)... all they have to do is follow the driver.
Why make it any easier for them. -
I like parking at Wal-Mart due to camera coverage but, apparently that is not good enough for Prime.
-
How in the world would that be secure? On hometime, the trailer comes with the tractor. Which comes here. Unless, due to weather concerns we can't get the rig (the trailer is the issue) in. Then that's sale's problem.

When I go home I drop my trailer at Gwaltney Or Suffolk Cold Storage then bobtail to the house. I have a Walmart less than 2 minutes away and would NEVER leave my trailer or truck there. Even though Virginia Beach is considered safe. If you drop your trailer wherever your FM tells you too, you can't go wrong and you aren't responsible for it after that
-
You'll drop your trailer where they tell you to drop it when you go home. It may not always be in the same place, but you won't take it home.

I have watched and read your post for 3 years now and have been pretty impressed. Here you can kiss my butt. All I was asking is for secured parking for a trailer.
-
Dah if it is secured then my trailer/truck is "secure"! This is the most rediculous response I have ever heard from you.
