Not in a truck...but I know somebody who did in fact get gassed and robbed, in his house. This happened in 1990.
To this day he is offering a $10,000 reward for info on who did it.

go to a gunstore and get a "protected by ruger" sticker for each door,
and then a small blue led blinking light for the dash from a car stereo install shop
and after that they need to b shot -

My advice would be don't bring a bat/tiretool/airhorn/knife/waspspray/mace etc. to a gunfight, bring something equal or bigger.
No law against carrying a weapon in a CMV only company rule.
I also agree with some of the other posts on here that prevention is the best weapon, same thing they teach you in Concealed Handgun License class. -
Whats a couple of years in folk lore time ?
Only thing it proves is you forgot to start your tale with
"This aint no $*** !"

Wild story cypher; i will comment on it later, maybe.
Anyways:
i used to do family dollar when i first started driving and yes, i used to park at/behind the stores after hours. i was maybe "less shy" (?) back then and more trusting of people back then maybe.
i WOULD NEVER think of doing that now.
Generally, stores like family dollar/dollar general etc. are never really in "good" neighbourhoods. There are exceptions, but these are rare.
i agree with powder in that the best thing to do in your case is to find the nearest safe truckstop to your first delivery and park there and then drive to the store during normal hours. This is what i would do if i were to do family dollar again. Economy being the way it is, this may be more likely than i would normally expect. -

Cypher...
Most states don't require you to try run away anymore...thats what the castle Doctrine laws are about.
With that being said...any man that kills when he can do otherwise is just plain foolish. (thats one of my favorite quotes from Sam Elliot...Conager) -
COMMONSENSE!
I keep hearing this on this thread and your right commonsense and good judgment is your best defense because you won't put yourself in bad situations. Granted things happen that are out of your control sometimes. But what you forgot is we live in a society where commonsense is just not that common anymore! -
Do you call people liars to their face or has the unpleasant memories of the girls beating you up in grade 3 turned you into a snivelling coward who hides behind a computer.
Now little boy head to the lake and do your trolling there.leannamarie and Ken Thank this.
