I wonder if it was because he shot the someone or if it was because he was going to be charged......
-
Ya see guns are not the problem, lack of truck parking is. If there were just a few more spaces this could of all been avoided.
Lumper Humper, Super_Trucker, tow614 and 9 others Thank this. -
He was only going to be charged with assault.. 5-10 years depending on final charges.
Most ranges don't allow a solo person to rent & shoot alone just because of this. -
That was kinda my thoughts. Assault with a deadly weapon, in the end, he wouldnt have gotten more than a year or two & probably could have spent that at a local prison & been close to home, rather than being sent to a state facility. Then probably 5 years probation & not able to work in a position that requires a firearm.
Even if he had gotten 5 years, he'd probably been out in 16 months or so.
On the other hand, if he couldn't deal with the thought of shooting someone......... well thats a personal issue. But sheesh.......... Killing yourself? Maybe he just wasnt mentally stable enough to deal with the thought of shooting someone & the whole legal process. -
Seemed like self defense probably something else going on in his life.

Which would account for some off the actions reported about the events leading up to the shooting.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

TA will get sued. But it is the security company that is going to take the big hit.
