Almost booked a load there on Monday till I read the forecast. Whew!!

On a side note been hearing a lot of stories of truckers offering food and water to stranded motorists before the state could get them out of there. You won't see much coverage of that though unfortunately

When my job took me from Lou, KY to Macon. Ga. I couldn't believe the attitude of the locals when it snowed, (hurry up and get home before it gets any worse). Just a light dusting and the median of the Interstate was full of 4-wheelers.

Real men don' need no stinkin' can opener! Flat bladed screwdriver and hammer work just fine!

Never thought of that. Looks like it would work, but I think the screwdriver/hammer method would be faster.

You should see the So Cal natives if they are exposed to snow. UnFreakingBelievable! :biggrin_2559:

Amen. Never let mine get below 1/2 during Dec/Jan/Feb. If I know I'm headed toward bad stuff, I'll be even tighter than that.

Lot of places in / around BUFFALO have run out of FOOD & FUEL , Grocery delivery and FUEL delivery deemed an essential service and allowed in the restricted areas, reported close to 30 buildings have had their roofs cave in , damaged so far estimated at $25,000,000.00 and starting to find deceased in the vehicles they are recovering while clearing the streets

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's awhole lot of damage.150 residents from a nursing home were escorted to a safer place because the roof was buckling. Can't remember how many dump trucks are in use now but I know its a huge number.
