Transportation Article Section 21 Paragraph 706 A
Failure to stop for stopped school veh. operating alternately flashing red lights
= $570 dollar fine +3 points applied.
IF Accident + 3 more points
Now.
Thats getting into Paragraph B Section 21 and 706 para.
IF you were stopped behind a school bus properly. Then got impatient because it's taking forever loading that wheelchair kid into the short bus handicapped. And took off...
It's Failure to remain stopped for stopped school veh. operating alternately flashing
red lights
Base fine $570.00 against you. + 03 points.
If someone got into a accident directly with you or caused by you moving out against oncoming traffic to get around stopped bus you will be fined additionally 610.00 for a total of 1180 Dollars and 03 points plus 03 points for accident.
State starts to suspend licensing at 8 points and revoke at 12.
You pretty much can throw in any number of more charges which probably will generate fines into the thousands plus points sufficient to revoke on the spot.
The most dangerous tickets are those marked MA under the Maryland Traffic Code.
That means you must appear in court. AND part of that appearance means you are possibly going to jail remanded directly to it from the courtroom. You do not get to walk out free.
I don't know what the other states do. But generally by and large Maryland is pretty nazy to use a badly butchered term to do certain things to protect the Children. (And right fully so)magoo68, Jazz1 and stayinback Thank this. -
Great Post-Good Video, And great job by the Sherriff's dept.
This Happens more often then not- WHY?
Why are we in that much of a hurry?
I Have the Answer- But to some,it's just my opinion.
Society(In General) Has Become so much in a hurry- Weput the Delicate and Fragile things in life on the Backburner.
People outliving their incomes.....Everybody has to "Outdo" Everyone else...Including their own families......
What do I mean.?
You don't have to Buy that $325,000 house with $7500 a year taxes That Force 2 incomes- What that means is this- Stress Levels go up- Which puts people in a hurry.
Don't outlive yourselves just to be "Better" than others....Your Killing yourselves,And Making it unsafe for others,Which is apparent in this video.
Wasn't like this before- People waved to allow children to get on the bus. Took time to Smell Roses and Get thru Life Without trying to "Impress" others. -
I see semi trucks doing this all the time in Midland, Texas. Not a cop in sight.
