I know this is a somewhat old thread, but I have to ask. Why in the heck is New Mexico blue? It's surrounded(literally) by red. Anyone know?

Hollywierd types moving and living there.

By the way, no need to organize a boycott, I am never going there anyhow. Even on vacation.

Quit bashing the land of enchantment. Best buffet in America is at the route 66 casino. Easy parking for trucks at the Wal-Mart in Gallup. Beautiful scenery.

Hmmm, I figured Albuquerque would be the one to blame. Kinda disappointed because NM is one of my favorite states to drive through and never had much problem with the people either. :(

Since this zombie thread got resurrected:

    1.) home almost every night
    2.) hourly pay
3.) having experienced both I'd rather drive NYC over Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas-Ft. Worth & DC
4.) my pay rate is higher.
5.) any customer that doesn't make parking arrangements with the city gets charged any tickets received.
6.) I know places INSIDE NYC to spend the night if needed. Yes I can LEAVE the truck and go to my sister in-laws for a drink or my mother's place for dinner. Or just hit a museum or show.
7.) NYC DOT cops seem to congregate in certain neighborhoods and harass out of town wagons, I go where trucks don't really belong and as long as I don't hit anything nobody bothers me.
8.) on the other hand I can blame the occasional broken mirror or sideswipe on "that other truck that hit me when I was unloading" (actually had a Chinatown box truck slice a hole the length of the trailer and the guy never stopped. Nothing I could do about it as I was inside the trailer when it happened and by the time I got to the back he was turning the next corner. It was a graffiti covered Isuzu with Chinese writing on the back, so you know, if you see him tell him he owes me $200)
9.) I could get another job tomorrow if they find out I'm willing to run "the Apple"
    10.) guaranteed work!
