    The problem I have found with the recovery partition. If the hard drive dies, your screwed. I always request from whom ever the manufacture of the system, to include the cd. Last I knew, dell was charging $5-10 to include the disk. Which I think is BS, when your already paying for the OS in the system.

    You mean some of yall actually worry about things like legality of the OS you are using? If it ain't hacked it isnt on my machine lol

    I don't worry about the legality of it. A hacked version usually has a trojan or two in it. Which to me is not worth the trouble or headache. Protecting the information I have is more important and less time consuming if done right. imo

    I've had good luck with all of my hacked software so far, but I can understand the fear alot of people would have with it. I'll continue to take my chances as the saved cost is worth it even if it means I might at times have to go back and restart from scratch.

    I do property preservation for banks etc. Many of the photo and completion upload sites won't work with apple. Some won't even work with firefox.

    Some folks have a hard time getting it to make a image on a disk. Let me know if you can not get it to work and I will be happy to send you a copy by snail mail, on either disk or floppy. All I ask is you send me back the money for postage.

    Nope........if you want to delete the "sensitive" info you have to wipe the HD; multiple times (depending how "sensitive") leaving the HD blank. Or replace the HD completely and destroy the OLD ones with a hammer.
