Semi pile up caught on cam

Couple obvious points: Big rig following distance needs to be double what is considered normal now. CB radios should be in every truck and turned on )"break check, BREAK CHECK!"). Maybe the 3rd or 4th truck could have reacted earlier.

 

YUP, CB has saved my bacon MANY times, over the years

 

What good is a CB, when 75% of truck drivers don’t speak English?

Hard to reach for the flasher button when your foot is up on the dash.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation of Cascadias come with a feature that turns the flashers on automatically whenever the driver mashes the brakes.

Definitely looks like a slow smooth action, unusual for dry pavement…
