Semi T-bones junior hockey team. 14 dead.

    The Humboldt Broncos are the home hockey team of the town in which I live.
    I am familiar with the intersection where this occurred, but at this time there is no information on which vehicle ran the stop sign. The terrain there is absolutely flat for miles with perfect visibility, the sky’s were clear. The bus was cut in half.
    The boys on the team were between 16 and 21 yrs.

    Ouch... 14 souls on his responsibility.
    Only a freakish medical blackout will keep him from prison.
    I don't know how I could face tomorrow with that eating at me each second of the day.

    Lord, help ease the suffering of all of those involved.

    That's pretty harsh. Wide open area, perfect timing, what are the chances? 5 seconds either way, it wouldn't have happened, that's the creepy part. Drivers life ain't worth a plugged nickel.

    Yes , news said bus was north bound, on main Hwy. Truck was west bound on secondary highway that was required to stop.
    There is a farm with trees on the southeast corner that would have obstructed his view of north bound traffic As he approached the intersection. But it clears in time to be able to see once you are stopped.
    The only picture from the scene looks to me like the truck over turned.
    It seems to me that the truck didn’t slow down at all, (maybe texting.)
    Speeds there are 100 kph both directions. ( 62 mph)
