I've had a few run ins with the gravel haulers out here and I'm sorry but I had better skills than some of these guys after my first couple driving lessons. The junk they drive is even scarier. I saw one guy make a couple trips past the yard with a rear outside dual flat and off the bead. You can't tell me they didn't notice that? Last big CVSE blitz south of Fort Mac that I witnessed, there were at least 4 or 5 of them lined up on the shoulder before the turnoff to the scale. No doubt they were afraid of being put OOS or they were running illegal. On the plus side though if you got 2 of those gravel trucks ahead of you going into the scale, you're pretty much in the clear because the CVSE know they're going to be writting a few tickets on them.

The birthplace or ethnicity has no relevance in the matter. What does is the fact that both the US and Canadian authorities have lowered the bar so much to allow all comers to enter the business, and allow existing carriers to employ totally incompetent drivers.
You don't have to go any farther than the dozens of stories monthly that show drivers following their GPS right off a cliff...
