There are two types of batteries. Even if you change brands make sure you get the right kind.
I think one is the standard lead. And the other is some type of glasses I dunno I might be wrong.
The biggest difference is what type of chaeger you put them on.

AGM (absorbent glass mat) They can output higher sustained juice, and have less resistance inside of them. I read on here recently they don't like the charging profile of our alternators on a semi, or something like that. I've got AGM, because it was the only 925 CCA they had in stock. Otherwise I was stuck with 660 CCA.

Project Farm has a decent video on batteries, and features regular and AGM.

he saw them and didn't even ask if the had fuel in them.

This was not an inspection. I was parked overnight in the safe haven parking and walked in in the morning. But I did point to my truck and he could see the cans. BTW my steps for the catwalk on my prostar are just big enough to put 1 can on each step and are frame mounted so the bottom step is behind the skirts..

custom built at a welding shop in Franklin, KY.
Vented on all 4 sides... front side only 1/2 vented to keep spray off the control panel.
After install I cut hole on side (in pic) to access oil fill/check/drain. Cut hole in bottom for oil draining. Cut 2 holes in back to cable lock generator to frame. Cut V notch in front for power cords...
Took rubber gas line 3/8 and split it then glued it to cover all sharp edges. To protect my hand when checking oil (again in pic) and also on the V notch to protect the power cords...

The box is painted (the shop doesn't do powder coating) with 2 coats of roll on bed liner then spary painted with 2 coats of Hammerite
