    To the OP, as someone mentioned, the higher CCA batteries have shorter lives. If you're not already, run semi-synthetic oil, and keep you fuel treated when it's single digits and below to keep the cetane number higher.

    My DD13 usually fires on the 2nd or 3rd compression stroke in single digit (+or-) temps so long as I've treated fuel, otherwise it'll crank a full revolution or so before it busts off. The difference in cranking speed is pretty dramatic once your into the single digits, and time to full pressure is much better than mineral oils as well.
